Welcome Blue-Sky Followers! (Who? Keeping reading.)

Merry Christmas Eve! I can feel the buzz of energy through cyberspace. Hyperdrive mode is on as the big day is tomorrow. 

For those of you who may not be aware, there is a new social media platform called Blue Sky. It looks and feels a bit like Twitter when it was still Twitter. My trusty sidekick decided that I needed to have a presence there and has been working hard to introduce THCountzWrites and Moon Diva’s AOTW to their followers. The response has been so encouraging, I wanted to take a moment to personally welcome all new followers.

Existing friends know that I am both THCountzWrites and Moon Diva Art. I am working on some ideas to combine the two for easier clarification, but for now, they both live separately on all social media platforms.

Moon Diva Art originally began as a way for me to showcase my own art. My primary work is as an illustrator of children’s books, for myself as well as aspiring authors who want to self-publish. I also create greeting cards, art collages and prints.

Back in 2019 I began showcasing a master artist each week, giving details of their life and posting a piece of their artwork daily. I cannot believe that we are six years in and still going strong. I have showcased many artists that are well-known, but I hope I have also introduced artists that are new to you. Art education is a passion of mine, and I am excited to continue this tradition in 2025.

THCountzWrites developed in late 2022 to garner a reading audience for the novel I have been working on, for what seems like eternity, The Red Chair. I began writing a weekly blog that posts each Tuesday morning, and occasionally, I will share an original short story on Friday. This is also when I began a Patreon account.

In the new year, I truly want to focus more on creativity as a general topic. I have had the privilege of sharing a class I developed called, “Finding Your Creativity.” My goal is to develop it further into a 4–6-week class that can be offered online or in person. I have said this a thousand times, and I will continue to say it – each person is creative. Your creativity may look very different from mine or your neighbor, but you ARE creative. I would love to help someone discover where their creativity resides and then have the courage to engage with it.

Besides art and writing, I also love to do all kinds of handwork, cooking and baking, as well as a background in music, both performing and writing. My creativity grows more and more all the time, and I would love to begin sharing those passions with each of you. You will begin to notice a subtle shift in what I share, but it will always lead back to the belief of sharing creativity and providing a positive space to spend your time.
